A PoE injector (also called a midspan) is the retrofit answer when your switch has no PoE: it combines incoming data from the switch with power from a wall outlet and feeds both over one cable to the device. The AP-4805I delivers 48V at 0.5A (24W) — the standard PoE voltage that 802.3af/at cameras, APs and phones expect — at 10/100Mbps, with an American standard plug for direct US/NEMA outlet use.
