Repeater POE Splitter Switch Separator POE Power Supply

The ANPA AP-SP01 is a standard PoE splitter (separator) that lets non-PoE devices run on PoE cabling. Installed at the device end, it takes a single IEEE 802.3af/at PoE input and splits it into separate data and power — a 10/100Mbps Ethernet feed to the device’s network port and a DC power lead to its power input — delivering up to 15.4W. Compact and plug-and-play, it is the everyday accessory for reusing PoE switches and structured cabling to power older cameras, access points and equipment without a local wall adapter. Product Overview

PoE splitters make new and legacy equipment interoperate. When your switch supports PoE but the endpoint does not, the AP-SP01 bridges the gap: the single cable carrying data and power arrives from the switch, and the splitter separates them — Ethernet data to the device’s RJ45 port, DC power to its barrel connector — so the device powers up and connects without any local power supply.

The AP-SP01 supports 10/100Mbps links and IEEE 802.3af/at input up to 15.4W, matching the vast majority of standard IP cameras, VoIP phones and entry-level wireless APs that need modest, separated power. Its simple two-connection design is fully plug and play: PoE in, data and power out, with automatic detection and an LED status indicator — no software or configuration.

It is the volume, general-purpose splitter in the ANPA accessory line — small, light and inexpensive enough for installer stock and project spares. For gigabit or isolated requirements, see the AP-G24S (isolated gigabit) or AP-G48S (outdoor isolated gigabit); for 12V rain-proof budget use, see the AP-1220S. Every AP-SP01 is CE, FCC and RoHS certified and produced in ANPA’s Chaozhou factory under the 9-step QC process with 100% inspection.

Application Scenarios

Legacy Camera Retrofits

Connect older or third-party non-PoE IP cameras to a new PoE switch — the splitter provides separate data and power so existing camera investments stay in service.

Non-PoE Access Points & Phones

Power entry-level APs and VoIP devices that use external DC adapters, eliminating wall warts at ceiling and desk locations.

Installer Spares & Service Kits

Keep compact splitters in the service van to resolve mismatched PoE/non-PoE equipment on site without return visits.

Cost-Effective Project Deployments

For standard 10/100, 15.4W endpoints the AP-SP01 provides a low bill-of-materials cost while remaining CE/FCC/RoHS certified and factory-backed.

Why Choose ANPA

ANPA has manufactured PoE networking equipment since 2006 — 20 years of production experience. Every switch and accessory is built in our single 15,000 m² facility in Chaozhou, Guangdong (with a dedicated R&D center in Shenzhen), across 8 production lines and 16 sets of assembly and test equipment. Our 3 R&D engineers and 7 QA/QC specialists enforce a rigorous 9-step quality control process with 100% inspection, full-load burn-in and CE, FCC and RoHS certification on every batch.

  • Separates 802.3af/at PoE into data + DC power (up to 15.4W) for non-PoE devices.
  • 10/100Mbps plug-and-play with auto detection and status LED — no configuration.
  • Compact, economical and ideal for retrofit, stock and service use.
  • CE/FCC/RoHS certified; manufactured in ANPA’s 15,000 m² Chaozhou factory with 100% inspection.

Compatible & Related Products

Need gigabit? Choose the isolated AP-G24S or outdoor AP-G48S; need 12V rain-proof on a budget, the AP-1220S; need 5V micro-USB, the AP-5V02S. Provide PoE with an injector (AP-2424AP) or a PoE switch such as the AP-1028PE (see the Fast Ethernet series guide).

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is a PoE splitter and when do I need one?

A splitter separates a PoE cable into data and power so a device without a PoE port can still be powered over Ethernet cabling. You need one when your switch provides PoE but the endpoint (older camera, non-PoE AP) requires a separate DC power input.

2. What power level does the AP-SP01 provide?

It handles IEEE 802.3af/at input and provides separated power up to 15.4W over a 10/100Mbps link — suitable for standard cameras and low-power devices. Higher-power or gigabit devices should use the gigabit splitters.

3. Is this splitter isolated?

The AP-SP01 is a standard (non-isolated) plug-and-play splitter for general indoor use. Choose the AP-G24S (indoor) or AP-G48S (outdoor) when you need galvanic isolation for sensitive equipment or ground-loop protection.

4. Does it work with 10/100 and gigabit switches?

Its data ports run at 10/100Mbps, so use it with Fast Ethernet links; connecting it to a gigabit switch will function at 10/100 speeds. For full gigabit end-to-end, specify the AP-G24S or AP-G48S.

5. How is it installed?

Connect the PoE cable from the switch to the input, then connect the Ethernet lead to the device’s data port and the DC lead to its power jack. Detection and conversion are automatic, with an LED confirming operation.

6. Can a splitter and injector be used together?

Yes — an injector adds PoE at a non-PoE switch and a splitter removes it at a non-PoE device, letting two non-PoE endpoints communicate and power over a long cable run.

7. What are the MOQ and OEM terms?

MOQ is 2 pieces. ANPA offers OEM/ODM logo, packaging and documentation services. Request a quote for volume pricing.
